All About Optics Workshop July 23rd, 2022 / 3pm-6pm

Focus:  

• Understanding Optics and what optics are best to choose for the end users’ intended purposes.

Course Prerequisite:

• Completion of the SharpShooters USA waiver

Course Description:

The All About Optics Workshop is taught by Scott Radebaugh of Descreet Defense Tools.

 Option overload is a real problem when selecting the best optic for your use. This workshop will provide the student with the knowledge and experience to make an informed decision. Understanding the various types of optics, their capability, and limitations the student will be able to select the correct optic and understand how to best use them.  

Some of the areas of discussion include, but are not limited to:

• Iron Sights 
• Red Dot/Holographic Sights 
• Fixed Magnified Optics
• Low Power Variable optics
• Hunting Optics
• Precision Rifle Optics
• Understanding MOA/Mil 
• Minutes of Angle/MOA vs Milliradian/Mil optics
• Ballistic Drop Compensation vs Grid Style reticles

Equipment Provided:

• Demonstration firearms with multiple and various optics attached
