Red Dot Workshop August 31st, 2022 / 5pm – 8pm

The Red Dot Workshop is taught by Maddy Scholar.

Course Prerequisite:

• USCCA Handgun Fundamentals, Intro to Handgun Safety and Marksmanship, or instructor acceptance
• Completion of the SharpShooters USA waiver

Equipment Provided:

• Eye protection
• Electronic Ear protection
• Rental pistol equipped with a red dot optic (If you own your own, you are highly encouraged to bring it and use it for the class)
• Target

Equipment Required:

• Pistol equipped with a red dot optic
• 100 rounds ammunition (If using a class handgun, ammunition must be purchased through SharpShooters USA

Course Description:

The Red Dot Workshop is for those who have already have a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of shooting (highly recommend taking at least up to CCW/Handgun Presentation as prerequisite). In this course you will learn about the following topics:

• Red dot theory
• Zeroing
• How the dot works at distance
• Keeping the dot under control at speed
• Red dot malfunctions
