We had so much fun last month with Daniel Defense Day at SharpShooters, we decided to do it again. Sort of. This coming weekend, Friday and Saturday, we are very excited to welcome Sig Sauer and Warrior Poet Society to SharpShooters.
Sig Sauer Days: Friday May 14th
Notice “Sig Days” is plural. Friday and Saturday. Here’s the scoop.
Friday, we’re offering 2 free classes led by Sig Sauer instructor, Rich Morovitz. First, from 2pm-4pm, Rich will teach a class all about the Sig Sauer Modern Sporting Rifle (aka, AR-15) platform. That includes the Tread, Coil, and AR Pistols. If you already have a Sig rifle or you’ve been considering the purchase, this class is the place to be. You’ll learn all the features, customizations, operation, maintenance, and whatever else you can squeeze out of Rich in 2 hours. Registration is required! THIS CLASS IS SOLD OUT!
Next, from 5:30-7:30PM, Rich will teach a class on nothing but the Sig Custom Works Fire Control Unit (FCU). Sig has taken customizing a semi-automatic pistol to a whole new level with the FCU. In this class, you’ll learn the history of the FCU, why Sig chose to build and market just the inner workings of the P320, and how to build your own custom P320 pistol.

Sig Sauer Days: Saturday May 15th
We’ve just upgraded our Tactical Bay to a 180° shooting experience. Basically, any shooting course you can setup outside, you can now setup inside. Sig Sauer will be setting up just such a course. You get to shoot it for free using Sig Sauer rifles or pistols and using our ammo. That’s right, it’s free, even the ammo. Registration is required!

Warrior Poet Society: Saturday May 15th, 3PM – 5PM
When we upgraded the 180°TAC Bay, we reached out to the folks at Warrior Poet Society for a few reasons. They’re local (Marietta). We share the same values. They do LOTS of tactical training. And – let’s be honest – John Lovell, Evan Temple, and Paul “Tactical Santa” Perkerson are rock stars, literally celebrities in the gun world.
We asked the WPS crew to join us in celebrating the opening of the only indoor 180°Tactical Shooting Bay here in Atlanta, and they have graciously obliged. The “event” is going to be very informal. Each ticket holder will get to spend a few minutes chatting it up with the War Poets, a sweet bag of swag to take home and show off, and a plate of local BBQ afterwards. Tickets for this event are $49 each.
