Veterans Day Weekend Celebration

We love and support our US Military Veterans all day every day. This year, Veterans Day (November 11) is on a Friday, so we’re gonna make a weekend of it. The goal of the weekend, as we celebrate our Veterans’ service and sacrifice, is to raise funds to support our local Veterans partner, VetBuds. We hope you will join us over the Veterans Day Weekend for fun, food, firearms, and more fun.

Veterans Day Weekend Fundraiser

VetBuds is a local 501(c)(3) charity. They do lots of different work to support veterans from all branches of the military. Specifically, they provide monthly academic scholarships to Military Veterans in need, typically $1,000 at a time. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for VetBuds’ monthly scholarship fund.

How Can I Support VetBuds?

We’re glad you asked. Here’s how it works. VetBuds is giving away THREE (3) firearms over the Veterans Day Weekend. You can enter their drawing by visiting SharpShooters and purchasing your VetBuds raffle ticket from their tents outside the store. VetBuds volunteers will be at SharpShooters Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Everyone shoots free all weekend – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – no lane fees! Boom! All targets are $10 each, and all target proceeds go to VetBuds. You can buy as many targets as you like.

Also, every target you buy (you don’t even have to shoot it!) is one entry into our raffle on Sunday evening. We’re giving away this Stoeger Double Defense 20ga over/under home defense shotgun. No need to be present to win. We’ll call you Sunday night right after the drawing.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for VetBuds’ monthly scholarship fund.

We wouldn’t celebrate anything, let alone our awesome Military Vets, without FOOD! We’ll be serving up lunch from noon to 230PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Get your lunch for a donation of any amount to VetBuds.
