Description
Beretta took their popular 1301 Tactical shotgun and added some serious upgrades to create the 1301 Tactical GenII 12ga 18.5″ 7+1. The addition of a pistol grip gives the user a highly ergonomic grip even when wearing gloves, and an adjustable cheek riser makes aiming faster and more instinctive. This shotgun is also outfitted with an extended magazine tube with an impressive 7+1 capacity. The short barrel gives it a compact size and makes it ideal for engaging targets while in confined spaces. In addition to its effectiveness in close-quarters, the 1301 Tactical was built to be extremely reliable and easy to use. It sports a large textured bolt release, an oversized charging handle, and a hefty safety button that can be switched from side to side for left-handed users. Aside from its ease of use and close range capabilities, the 1301 Tactical is a highly customizable platform; the ghost-ring sight system has a replaceable front sight, the choke is interchangeable, and a receiver mounted MIL-STD Picatinny rail allows for the installation of optics.
Furthermore, the 1301 Tactical GenII 12ga 18.5″ 7+1 utilizes Beretta’s innovative “BLINK” gas operating system, which features a cross tube gas piston. This piston design allows the gun to cycle shells 36% faster than the majority of shotguns in the same class, making it an ideal choice for 3-gun competitions.
