The Sig Sauer p320 ProCut slide 3.9″ OR (COY) is an OEM slide replacement for the p320 compact.  Stylized relief cuts serve a dual purpose firstly the lightened weight of the slide will help to reduce felt recoil to the shooter, and further then that they offer an aggressive and eye catching look. This is a factory slide replacement so swapping your original slide for the ProCut slide will not void your factory warranty.
